Meet Sarah — The heart behind Sun West Knox
Sarah founded Sun West Knox from a love of beauty, wellness, and helping women feel confident in their own skin. After a successful career in the corporate world and years devoted to raising her family, she returned to an industry she had always loved with a vision for something more personal—a place where beauty and whole-body wellness could exist under one roof.
A Licensed Aesthetician and lifelong believer in continuing education, Sarah brings both experience and artistry to Sun West. She is Bronze Novice Certified, Glazed Sunless Colorology Certified, and has trained personally with Isabel Alysa, celebrity spray tan artist and founder of Dolce Glow. Her approach is never one-size fits all; every treatment is thoughtful, personalized, and designed to enhance what makes each client uniquely beautiful.
Sun West has always been about more than looking your best—it’s about feeling your best, too. Cared for, confident, refreshed and a little more like yourself.
Originally from Memphis, Sarah made Knoxville home in 2017, where she lives with her husband, two kids, and two dogs. She loves hiking, Pilates, traveling, and spending time outdoors, and her newfound love of country music—always seeking moments that reconnect her with nature, gratitude, and grace. Located in the heart of Knoxville's Bearden District- just minutes from UT and downtown. Sun West is more than a studio. It's Sarah's love letter to the community she calls home: a space designed around beauty, wellness and that unmistakable feeling of confidence when you walk out the door. The studio is easily accessible with convenient parking directly in front of the building, located right next to the iconic Toddy's Liquor Store on Kingston Pike.

Meet Parris
Meet Parris! Born and raised in Knoxville, Tennessee, she has always had a passion for beauty and helping others feel confident in themselves. From being the go-to makeup artist for friends and family growing up to turning that passion into a career, the aesthetics field has always been the cornerstone of her true purpose.
A May 2025 graduate from Tennessee School of Beauty, Parris has advanced training in a wide variety of medical aesthetics: laser treatments, chemical peels, dermaplaning, and other corrective skin treatments. Certified makeup artistry and spray tanning are also part of her skill set.
Parris cannot wait to continue to hone and craft her skills at Sun West Knox as she creates customized treatments plans and ensures each client feels cared for and comfortable from the moment they walk in the door. Enhancing each client’s natural beauty while helping them build confidence through healthy, radiant skin is Parris’s main goal, and one of the most important ways to achieve that is by continuing to learn and stay current on the latest advancements in the industry. That is Parris’s commitment to each client.
When she’s not in the treatment room, you can usually find Parris spending time with her family (she’s particularly partial to her little nephew and new niece), getting lost in a good book, creating art through drawing and modeling clay, or, of course, shopping.
Ultimately, she believes that self-care looks different for everyone, and she can’t be wait to play a small role in helping her clients feel like their best selves.
